Section 19. Responsibilities of Tournament Director

The following rules will be used to dictate the responsibilities of the Tournament Director.
 

19.1 The Tournament Director shall:

19.1.1 Follow all HMAL rules.

19.1.2 Be restricted from entering into his/her own competition.

19.1.3 Assign qualified referees, judges & score keepers/timekeepers to all rings.

19.1.4 Provide adequate entry information to all schools (entry forms, etc.) and advertise the tournament as a HMAL competition.

19.1.5 Provide adequate medical personnel at tournaments.

19.1.6 Make final judgement calls.

19.1.7 Provide for the staging of competitors.

19.1.8 Must attend a HMAL rules certification class.
