ARTICLE VII

AMENDMENTS TO THE BY-LAWS
 

Section 1. Adoption

Any proposed amendment to these bylaws shall be presented at a regular or special meeting, and shall be accompanied by a motion for adoption. The amendment shall be read, and the motion voted upon. A quorum, as defined in Section 3, must be present, and a majority vote is required for passage.
 

Section 2. Approval

Amendments to the bylaws will become effective after approval by a majority vote of all Officers & Governing Body members present at a scheduled meeting.
 

Section 3. Quorum

A majority of the Officers will be required to be present for a quorum when amending the bylaws (min. of 3).

ARTICLE VIII

AMENDMENTS TO THE HMAL COMPETITION RULES
 

Section 1. Adoption

Any proposed amendment to the HMAL Competition Rules shall be presented at a regular or special meeting, and shall be accompanied by a motion for adoption. The amendment shall be read and the motion voted upon. A quorum, as defined in Section 3, must be present and a majority vote is required for passage.
 

Section 2. Approval

Amendments to the competition rules shall become effective after approval by a majority vote of all Governing Body members present at a scheduled meeting.

2.1 All rules will remain in effect for a period of one (1) year.
2.1.1 If Rules Committee determines that the safety of a rule is in question, a rule may be changed more frequently.
 

Section 3 Quorum

A majority of the Officers will be required to be present for a quorum when amending the competition rules (min. of 3).
